Third Day At Leap

So, although Thursday is the fourth day of the week, this is my third day at Leap. Yesterday's attempted excursion to the NUS Extraordinary conference in Wolverhampton was a complete bust... After waking up at three o'clock, Katy and I walked up to Tremough only to find no bus and no people; i went up to reception and sure enough, CCTV proved that the bus had arrived early and left only two minutes before we arrived! So, I went to the Graduate Careers Fair instead where I listened to talks from the BBC and Random House.
Anyway, despite yesterday being a bit rubbish today got off to a great start. I've been heavily involved in writing press releases and Case Studies for Environmental and Sustainability websites. As some of you know, when it comes to design I'm a bit of a perfectionist; so, instead of just typing up a couple of paragraphs in a Word document and sending them off, I came up with a template that should set them out from the crowd.
I had a cool chat with Charlie this morning about my placement and I think she and Matt have really decided that I should be used for a lot more than making cups of tea and that's why I'm being given some really high profile work.
I hope it continues!
